In 2007 Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a street dog, tied him with a short rope to a wall of an art gallery, and let him die slowly of starvation and thirst, as an "art exhibit."

Over the span of several days, the author of this horrible cruelty and the visitors of this Art Gallery have witnessed the agony of the poor animal, until at last he died of starvation and thirst, after surely a painful and absurd amount of suffering.

The prestigious Centro-American Biennial of Art decided that the brutality by this person was art, and Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat the cruel "art exhibit" at the next Biennial in 2008.
